Project Outline

Yokohama Dia Bulding is an advanced complex building designed for use of office and shopping/food court of Yokohama Bay Quarter, located in the east of Yokohama Staion Terminals.
It features one of the largest scale of solar panels in Japan (approx 1,500 m2) installed on the exterior wall of an office tower facing Yokohama Station to use solar power in the green movement. It also equips automatic controlled blinds by sunlight tracking sensors and lighting control systems to reduce the thermal loads of the building for energysaving. A pedestrian deck connecting Station to/from the tower and public passes through the building are maintained for the resident of Portside district, which contribute a concept of foot-traffic network of the City.
