Project Outline

Nissan Motor built Global Headquarters in Yokohama City, its corporate root. The Headquarters has multi-functions of workplace and “Gallery” in the podium with public walkway in which tens of thousands of people a day walk.
We considered “Japanese DNA” in a basis for expression of design and embodied the corporate philosophy to seek after “pursuit of functional beauty” and “environmental contribution” with the following 4 numbers of design theme.

  1. Symbiosis with existing city place environment.
  2. Symbiosis with public and private use.
  3. Symbiosis with various values
  4. Symbiosis with nature
